New Process at Platinadora Baja

E-Coating Services in Mexico

What is E-Coating?

E-coating, also known as electrophoretic coating or electrocoating, is an advanced painting process that applies a protective coating using electrical current.

During the process, conductive metal parts are immersed in a water-based paint bath. An electrical charge causes the paint particles to bond evenly to the surface, creating a smooth, uniform coating—even inside complex geometries, edges and recessed areas that are difficult to reach with conventional painting methods.

After coating, the parts are rinsed and cured in an oven to achieve a durable, corrosion-resistant finish.
